One person, many crafts. The throughline: I move early, build with technology, and turn new ideas into things that last.
These are receipts, not promises. The work is in production right now, and a single org-wide dashboard goes live this year.
Every one of these was built and executed end to end: concept, production, media, technical direction and digital presence. The same hands that write the code run the show floor.
I'm Daniyal Umer, a builder by instinct and a creative one too. Wherever I land, I bring technology and a bias for doing things in new ways. The same drive runs through very different work: digital systems and infrastructure, national festivals, design and creative direction, content, music, and an events company. Some of it comes with a title. Most of it I started simply because I wanted it to exist.
ACPKHI (Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi) is my biggest chapter. In 2014 I brought it onto social media when nobody there believed in it, and that first online presence carried a 70-year institution to audiences around the world. I built its entire technology stack from the ground up: the IT department, the network and security backbone, cloud infrastructure on AWS, an ERP that runs the institution's finances, and a biometric identity system for every member. Years later I brought in AI the same way, again before anyone was convinced. The work grew me into its Executive Director, but the title came out of the building, not the other way around.
And the journey has only just begun. The same hands shape Morons, Moosic, Pro Planners and the creative work that ties everything together, and the biggest milestones are still ahead.
